In the plants of the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry highly complex processes are taking place.
Unexpected vibrations and disturbing noises on plant parts occur, for example, upon the initial operation of a new plant. Or upon slight process changes on an existing plant slight.
The causes are manifold and can often be found in the vicinity of pumps or compressors. Machines which feed energy into the fluid or gaseous substances to be processed.
Additionally, during batch processes with operating parameters which vary greatly over time or in processes with multi-phase substances, impulsive vibrations of the medium can often occur and lead to unwanted mechanical vibrations and strains on containers, valves, pipes etc.
KÖTTER Consulting Engineers knows how to efficiently solve your noise or vibration problem. Based on many years of experience in trouble-shooting in pulsation studies (see pulsation damping plate based on the KÖTTER principle), we can support the secure operation of your plant.
