The department "Wind turbine systems" offers special services:

Consulting

Support for tasks in all areas of acoustics during the planning and approbation phase.

Preparation of expert's reports necessary in the approval procedure.

Support for discussions with authorizing bodies and for dealing with their requirements.

Sound immission prognoses

Preparation of immission prognoses for building permit proceedings or for evaluating the planning stage.

The prognoses are being prepared according to the requirements of TA Lärm and DIN ISO 9613-2 as well as individual requirements of the responsible authorizing bodies.

Insights gained on site are considered in the course of the prognosis the same as our experience with different types of wind energy converters from acoustical measurements.

In the case of exceedings of the immission guidance levels, noise reduction measures are proposed.

Acoustical measurements

Execution of emission measurements on wind energy converters conforming to FGW or IEC to determine the acoustic power level, tonal and impulse allowance.

Apart from the determination of common acoustical characteristics of wind energy converters, we offer the assessment of sound-optimized operational modes as well as far zone measurements.

Immission measurements at relevant immission locations according to TA Lärm. Determination of potential allowances or reductions and calculation of the evaluation level dependent on the acoustical situation on site.

Research and development

Our constructional acousticians carry out acoustical and vibrational analyses of individual components or component assemblies during the development and optimization of wind energy converters.

After pointing our relevant noise and vibration sources, we propose economical measures for effective reductions.
